what she's been up to....

so besides moving my entire house and studio (in the 100 degree plus heat) I have also been busy creating lots of new things for the upcoming Junk Bonanza event that takes place at the same time the Creative Connection event is going on ......   Here are a few of my new pieces that will be joining me ...  

so I have been busy putting things away and organizing and setting up a wonderful new studio that I cant wait to share with you...

I have also made a couple new halloween pieces for the fall :

well next week i am off to minnesota but I have some new plans for my blog .... lets just say you will get to see a much better view of my studio and what i am working on ..........

she is moving ..

Yep we are in the process of moving our house AGAIN ... I know I know but this time we are hoping to stay a bit longer (we have had alot of issues with our current rental , which is a whole other story )  But this time I am going to have a huge studio 20x20 to be exact which is almost double the space .. . and I have some magical things planned for this space ( hint... you will be able to visit ) and the remodel has already begun ... don't worry our new landlords are perfectly okay with me remodeling their garage !   SO .. i may be absent for a another week or so but I will be back with lots of new photos and how my new studio space is coming along !!! 

In the meantime though I wanted to give a shout out to The Creative Connection Event ... I was so honored that Jo Packman and Nancy Soriano asked me to create some unique jewelry pieces for there event !! So if your going and you will definitely want to check it out !!!I will be doing the Junk Bonanaza which coincides with TCC.  So I can't wait to see all the wonderful ladies attending both !!!!!!

She has released her fall line

She had a great time ...

I know I have been a bad blogger lately .. things have been a bit busy after the tradeshow and now that we have decided to move to a new home ( with a much bigger studio for me, more on that soon ) it will probably get a little bit crazier. But I wanted to share some of the photos from the Tradeshow at Beckmans in LA ....
After Heather and I set up the booth we were able to sneak away to the beach for the afternoon which was very refreshing since there is nothing like the beach and feeling the salty air and sand...
The Tradeshow was a ton of fun... and although the LA market was slower then usual from what we heard ...we made several new friends and met lots of new fun boutique stores and reps....so next week I will be heading to Art Unraveled ... can't wait to see all my art friends soon !!

She loves cake ...

So yesterday was my birthday ... and one of my favorite presents is this wonderful crown I got from my mom at Glitterfest this spring ....... its made by the uber talented Michelle Legler (aka Mosaic Queen) ... I have been collecting her work for awhile now ... My first piece was this wonderful cake that my mom surprised me with for Christmas .... it says "she eats cake" ..... for my birthday we ate dinner at a fun family style restaurant and when they brought out the desert for everyonewe all laughed at how big it was ... now i didn't get cake ...yet.... (my mother n law makes all our cakes with the BEST buttercream frosting in the world and she is out of town right now so I am waiting for a bit ) but this HUGE dessert was yummy... and of course i ate the cherry ... because really Life is all about the Cherry on top ....

Hope you have a wonderful 4th of July .... I will be relaxing by the pool ...because in a couple weeks I am heading here ... (oh , and the website will be shutting down for a couple weeks in July to get ready for the fall stock ... but we will reopen again August 1st ..with all NEW inventory )

Where She Creates.... Blogger Event

So ... I signed up again this year on this blog ... for a special event " Where BLOGGERS Create" !! Where Women Create is even giving away some special prizes this time and Karen was featured in the WWC mag!! So exciting !
SO without further ado , i will share my space with you ...... Its really funny that when you have a business like I do and an employee that we share a little 10x12 room .... So in order to make this room really work for both of us you have to be creative ! I transformed the closet into another workspace by taking the doors off ... and plan to run to goodwill today to buy a desk as I have recently organized again and would like to put a small desk there for me to sit on the computer .... its funny how such a small space can work for 2 people and seem very large. It helps that I have lots of natural light shining in all the time and a bose Ipod speaker system to play some tunes while we work !!! Also my ikea cabinets hide away sooo much clutter and I don't know what i would do without them , i have counters all around me to create on !! I truly believe in displaying as much as you can so that you get inspiration from all around you .... and recently changed the closet shelving now to display some of my fun vignettes ....
