My safety, comfort, and for having the opportunity to do just about anything I put my mind to. I am truly blessed and oh so thankful. I think perhaps this is the first year I have had the guts to say all of that without fearing the bottom was going to fall out-and thats a pretty great feeling.

What a lovely giveaway. I have many things to be thankful for, but this year one thing stands out for me and my family. My mother was recently diagnosed with stage four cancer and given very little time to live. She is determined to outlive the short time the doctors gave her. I am thankful for each and every day I get to spend with her.
ReplyDeleteI just became a fan on FB, and left a comment there.
ReplyDeleteWhile thinking of all that I am thankful for, I realized how at one point in my life, I took so many things for granted. After losing someone in my life that I thought I could not live without, I am especially thankful for my Faith, without it, I would be lost! I am so thankful for the upbringing I had, that made me the "she" (thanks Beth)I am today. Thankful is a word I can use to describe how blessed I am to have the husband I have, who has always stood by my side, always loving and telling me how wonderful I am, and who wakes up with our beautiful children in the middle of the night, so that I can get some sleep. Thankful is an understatement as to how I feel about the fact that I have three beautiful children who make each day a VERY special day. To God, I am thankful for giving me life, that husband and those children. I am thankful for the 32 years I got to spend with my mother, for there are others who are not blessed with that amount of time. I am thankful that I am beginning to understand the true meaning of life, and am not just walking through life being thankful for things that have no meaning. I am incredibly thankful for my freedom and the ability to be creative. Oh my list to could on for so long. Love, Health and Happiness!!! Thanks Beth, what a great idea - a good reminder of the things we should all be thinking about this Holiday Season!!
ReplyDeleteI am thankful for my wonderful husband of 33 years and my 3 kids whom I dearly love. I foremost thank God for his loving gift of life! Comfort & joy would be a great symbol of my life to aspire to since we are in the midst of moving to another town & trying to sell our home soon. Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Cindy
