SO i am very excited to announce that my studio is in the next issue of Where Women Create.. I have gotten several emails already from those who have seen it !!! Its not quite at the news stands yet but will be soon .. I was contacted several months ago by Jo Packam to come photograph it and we had a blast .. so although i am no longer in that studio I feel so honored that I got to share my space and journey with you... so make sure you get your copy .. I also will be doing a giveaway for one lucky reader in February when I get mine !!! :) so stay tuned !!!!

I really haven't had a chance to see it yet in print but I have seen the photos online and I am very excited !!

I also wanted to share that I was in a recent write up on Skirt!Lexington .. for my Valentines Day Jewelry .. I am working on some big things over on the website .. and they will be revealed in the next month ..:) soooo very excited !!!

Sorry i have been a little missing in action !!! I have been taking a little break this week from work and internet things .... Hope you are getting a little rest this holiday vacation too !! Just wanted to let you know that next weekend I will be at the URBAN BARN in Escondido, CA on October 14th and 15th - if you live near the area you must come.. they are having a "wicked ball" and so much more , giveaways, treats , costume contests.. .. I will be selling my wares and flea market supplies at the street faire all weekend ... also Urban Barn was voted one of the top ten flea markets by Romantic Homes ..so its definitely worth making the trip !!! she will be teaching in San Diego ..

Just wanted to let you know of one of my teaching events this fall .. it will be at the store Paper Tales !! I am soo excited to be teaching two very special classes ... the first is "she is home" .. a wonderful mixed media house full of texture ..

and the next is one saturday which will be 5 hours of soldering .. called she loves to solder ...

you will make this amazing charm bracelet full of vintage goodies and learn to solder your own special charms ... so if your in the San Diego area the classes will be offered the weekend of November 11 and 12th .. I will also be doing a trunk show and selling my wares ... so if your not taking a class stop in and say hello !!

and this weekend i am off to San Francisco with my very good friend Kerry Lynn.. i am sure i will have lots of tales to tell as we are hitting the Almeda Flea Market and I have never gotten to go so I am soooo excited !! Its a much needed girlie trip !!

This Friday September 16th from 4 -9 pm is my first open house and trunk show at MY studio .. :) I will have lots of one of a kinds , pink champagne, wine and cupcakes to kick off the event !! I will also have a drawing for a 75.00 gift certificate to spend anyway you like in the studio :) i am sooo excited !! so if you live in the area come on by to toast the grand opening .. so i got to spend last week antiquing and relaxing in wisconsin ..(la crosse to be exact) .. the weather was so nice and its right near the mississippi .. it was so wonderful surrounded by bluffs and green ! how i miss the midwest ..it was such a great break .. and refreshing away from heat of the Arizona desert... i also found so many new goodies which has sparked my creative muse again .. ( i am also addicted to the program inst.agram can you tell ??)

SO its been a long time since I posted .. somehow blogging has got pushed to the backburner .. i hope some of you are still out there .. and with facebook, pinterest and all the other things popping up .. it seems its getting harder and harder to stay on top of it all .. .. things have been crazy busy which is a good thing .. summer has started and kids are out of school ... the studio is coming along great .and i can't wait to show you photos - the grand opening is scheduled for Sept 16-19th ... it feels so great to be able to work away from my home and go to work now and not have everything consuming my house and my employees love it too !!

... so since blogging has gotten harder .. I am planning to post a little differently now - ---- basically with photos to tell my story .. I have never been one for writing a lot as I feel people love the inspiration of photos .. so to get my self blogging again ... i am planning to show photos of my studio .on every wednesday .. with her studio view... and fashion ideas like the one above with a little mix of my jewelry .. also i just started doing instagram so i might even throw in some photos of my week in review... ... hopefully it will inspire you and me too !! as always this will be another place to post where i will be and when .. as I plan to use the studio to teach classes (starting sept 17th and 18th ) so mark your calendars now .. i will be back to show you peeks of the classes and a special guest who will be joining me for the grand opening weekend !!!! Next week we are heading to Wisconsin to visit some family and just get away .. hoping to unplug a little from the computer and just enjoy the relaxed pace of the midwest ....

So I am headed off to Illinois in a couple days to spend time at the NadaFarm Event ... its going to be soo much fun !!! I am so excited to see many of my friends that I have met along my journey .. like the very talented Jen who I will be staying with much of the time !! Its so great to be able to connect with women who get what you do and are supportive ... I am sure there will be lots of laughs to be had .. and whenever this fun girl is around you can bet you will have a fun filled trip !!

So i will have lots of new goodies for the show .. and whatever doesn't sell will be put in the website and etsy .. or might just end up here .........

my new studio !!!! opening sept 2011!

yep that is CORRECT !! I am over the moon excited to announce that I am opening a studio in September .. I will be moving in the next month and preparing the showroom / studio ..... some things you will find in the studio are classes, vintage beading supplies , and a showroom for my jewelry ... not to mention that I just need a spot for my worker bees and I to create and not feel like we are in the middle of my living room ... my heart said go so I am taking the leap.. following my dreams and finally opening the studio I have been soooooo longing for ... its time to take another big leap in my journey and I am sooo very excited about where it will continue to take me ..

her life has been crazy...

I can't believe what a bad blogger i have been.. i am not sure where this year is going and now its April already !! ... so i have tried to blog but when i try and sit down to write, the words just don't want to come .... so anyways, .. i have been very busy creating the last few weeks .. i also spent a wonderful weekend away with some Dream girls :)

.. It was a total treat and I had the best time ...Tiffany was the most delightful hostess and I am soo happy to call her a friend , I admire her soo much ( and sorry to say I didn't take barely any photos :( ) ... also I have been designing more for my childrens line and coming up with my fall line ... we also go a new puppy- he is an australian shephard and we named him Cisco .. after our fav place san francisco!

so it is taking up some of my free time along with just being mommy while my kids were on spring break ... I think its important to let ourselves take a break when we need to ... and for me it was much overdue... sometimes when the craziness of life takes over its all you can do to keep yourself sane is take a nice break ... so with that being said I am still here ...

I have two great events coming up here in Arizona ... the first being a small trunk show at one of my Favorite stores called Frances !!! I will be there on April 9th most of the day ... would love it if you came by to see me!! .. i will have lots of one of a kinds and some new childrens jewelry ... Easter is right around the corner ! and then i am going to be a part of the Arizona Womens Expo !! Its going to be an exciting event and I have been working on designing my booth for that too !!

I am walking for my little guy, Cole to raise money for CHASA .... Here is our story ....
Cole was born January 21st , 2004 - When he was 6 mths old doctors realized that he was not hitting the normal baby milestones and an MRI was then done. The MRI showed that Cole had an inutero stroke. We were shocked and couldn't believe the news. Cole then had extensive physical and occupational therapy and has continued this since he was a baby... we have had an unbelievable team of specialists working with him ... Cole is now 7 years old .. he has never had any other complications from the stroke such as seizures. He has right sided weakness so he doesn't really use his right hand much .. (which we have nicknamed his helper hand) . He loves to play sports and currently his favorite is basketball.. this past season in one game he scored 4 baskets!! He is such a light in our life - a smile that warms your heart ... his determination and strength amazes me everyday!!

so ... without further ado .. opening tomorrow is my first ever childrens line of jewelry here .. "because every little girl needs some bling "

.. I have had so much fun making these and have soo many bits and bitty pieces in mind..most of the pieces are made with vintage flowers (not reproductions) that I have so they will be very limited to one or two and MANY will have itty bitty vintage rhinstones ! This sweet little line of children's jewelry will include : earrings, bracelets, necklaces and some bling hairpieces - all done with little bitty hand glittered bezel charms - (these are very small and sweet ) only about 1/2" .. but sooo cute!

so if your looking for the sweet little girl, niece, daughter, flower girl that adorable little present ... you may just have found the place... customization is also available with names, initials or sweet little words .... This month my jewelry is being featured in showrooms all over the world and over 4 tradeshows and I am so very excited ( and a bit nervous) on how it will go ...hanging on for the adventure .... so as many have chosen a word for the year my word is JOURNEY ... as in "She loves her Journey" ... my journey has already taken me so many places and I can't wait to enjoy the Journey of 2011....

So we are saying Goodbye to 2010 and HELLO to 2011... I am so very excited for what this year will bring ... I had such a wonderful 2010 and am soo grateful to all of my friends, family , and supporters of my blog and jewelry ... I will be discontinuing much of my fall line in the next couple weeks and be releasing my new Spring Line .. I also have another exciting announcement ... here is a hint...

I also have some exciting plans for the next several months with new ideas floating around in my brain and I just can't wait to put them into action..fun fun...

a few of her favorite things...

well WOW where has the time gone? its almost Christmas and we are a little over a week away... I am very excited to take some down time off and relax and enjoy the holiday ... Get inspired and just enjoy the time with family ... I will be closing the site starting the 20th through January 2nd.... Look for lots of exciting new things happening in the new year... its going to be a new blog ... new changes on the website and soo much more ...my new motto .... "she turned her dreams into plans.".. I am ready to put some fun new things in motion....

so i am sure things will be a little quiet around her until the new year .. so i am going to share my favorite recipe with you for the holidays ... its for egg nog ... and believe me even if you are NOT a fan of egg nog you will love this recipe ... its soo yummy and hey i am going to say just for the holidays its fat free ... so please don't blame me if you can't fit into your jeans after drinking one glass or a pitcher ..... :)

To Die for Eggnog

To Make:
2 eggs, well beaten
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 quart whole milk
1 Cup Heavy cream, whipped
Nutmeg for sprinkling on top
Beat eggs, canned milk, vanilla salt and milk for 5 min. Blend in whipped cream. Sprinkle nutmeg on top. Chill 2-6 hours and stir before serving.

So I have been frantically getting ready for Silver Bella !!! and getting very excited , can't wait to teach and hang out with the bella's ! ... I bought some new boots ....

and a new skirt ....from my favorite friend over here ... OMG .. the skirt is amazing !! just love it !

and i made myself a necklace ...because i never keep one for myself but i just love these flowers

her NEW studio ..

So finally it is cooling off a little here in AZ .... I am spending more time out in my studio (cooling a 2 car garage is huge deal here ! )

So the space is finally starting to come together , i have hung a couple of chandeliers and am still hoping to hang a few more soon .. I have some fun ideas for lighting , but luckily too I have a couple windows which add some natural light and when its cool enough i can prop open the door to the garage ... we also painted the floors with concrete stain a nice chocolate brown ...

the garage is not directly attached to the house so you have a seperate entrance and it kinda feels like i am in my own little world here ! I have hung curtains in aqua and brown along the side where the garage door is ... you really have no idea your in a garage when you enter .. I have used fabric to hide all the door parts ...

My plans for the future... a holiday open house and studio tour coming in November .... and next year I will be having a class in late January or early February so stay tuned !!

I had such a great time at Glitterfest in California ... Here is a peak at my table ( all photos are courtesy of my bestie Karin at Creative Chaos ..)

I also got to see many people including Jenny Doh and Beth Livesay from Stampington ... what a great surprise ... Jenny and I will be hanging out more at Silver Bella .. and I can't wait ...

so after glitterfest was done we went to meet a few friends at a local pub... here is Karin, Jenny and I posing with the guy we picked up ... After the dinner ( and a few too many drinks ) my mom and I headed back to our hotel where two other good friends (Michelle and Maija ) were staying too so we hung out at their room for awhile and had wayyyy too much fun and laughs !!!( this photo was of Michelle and I at the Creative connection in Minnesota ) What a wonderful way to spend a weekend hanging with girfriends and having a ball !!!

I am also super excited about this new venture ...

I now have over 20 Reps and am in 3 showrooms in the US .... super exciting !! Its all been kind of a whirlwind ! SO as you can imagine I am trying to keep up with the blogging and the business stuff too ... but I still have some exciting plans for changing up the blog a little including some new "whats on her desk" ... what i would like to do is just show you what I am up to with more photos etc and "whats inspiring her today " with blogs and photos that are inspiring me ! so look for more photos and more posts coming soon !!!

WOWZERS did i have a wonderful time at the Junk Bonanza !!! IT was AMAZING to say the least ... so many wonderful people vendors, shoppers and bloggers...... Unfortunately the bad news is I brought my little camera and not my big monster so I didn't end up taking that many photos ... but I met several wonderful women who did take wonderful photos and am happy to now call them friends !!! she is moving ..

Yep we are in the process of moving our house AGAIN ... I know I know but this time we are hoping to stay a bit longer (we have had alot of issues with our current rental , which is a whole other story ) But this time I am going to have a huge studio 20x20 to be exact which is almost double the space .. . and I have some magical things planned for this space ( hint... you will be able to visit ) and the remodel has already begun ... don't worry our new landlords are perfectly okay with me remodeling their garage ! SO .. i may be absent for a another week or so but I will be back with lots of new photos and how my new studio space is coming along !!!

In the meantime though I wanted to give a shout out to The Creative Connection Event ... I was so honored that Jo Packman and Nancy Soriano asked me to create some unique jewelry pieces for there event !! So if your going and you will definitely want to check it out !!!I will be doing the Junk Bonanaza which coincides with TCC. So I can't wait to see all the wonderful ladies attending both !!!!!!

I know I have been a bad blogger lately .. things have been a bit busy after the tradeshow and now that we have decided to move to a new home ( with a much bigger studio for me, more on that soon ) it will probably get a little bit crazier. But I wanted to share some of the photos from the Tradeshow at Beckmans in LA ....
After Heather and I set up the booth we were able to sneak away to the beach for the afternoon which was very refreshing since there is nothing like the beach and feeling the salty air and sand...
The Tradeshow was a ton of fun... and although the LA market was slower then usual from what we heard ...we made several new friends and met lots of new fun boutique stores and reps....so next week I will be heading to Art Unraveled ... can't wait to see all my art friends soon !!

She loves cake ...

So yesterday was my birthday ... and one of my favorite presents is this wonderful crown I got from my mom at Glitterfest this spring ....... its made by the uber talented Michelle Legler (aka Mosaic Queen) ... I have been collecting her work for awhile now ... My first piece was this wonderful cake that my mom surprised me with for Christmas .... it says "she eats cake" ..... for my birthday we ate dinner at a fun family style restaurant and when they brought out the desert for everyonewe all laughed at how big it was ... now i didn't get cake ...yet.... (my mother n law makes all our cakes with the BEST buttercream frosting in the world and she is out of town right now so I am waiting for a bit ) but this HUGE dessert was yummy... and of course i ate the cherry ... because really Life is all about the Cherry on top ....

Hope you have a wonderful 4th of July .... I will be relaxing by the pool ...because in a couple weeks I am heading here ... (oh , and the website will be shutting down for a couple weeks in July to get ready for the fall stock ... but we will reopen again August 1st ..with all NEW inventory )

Where She Creates.... Blogger Event

So ... I signed up again this year on this blog ... for a special event " Where BLOGGERS Create" !! Where Women Create is even giving away some special prizes this time and Karen was featured in the WWC mag!! So exciting !
SO without further ado , i will share my space with you ...... Its really funny that when you have a business like I do and an employee that we share a little 10x12 room .... So in order to make this room really work for both of us you have to be creative ! I transformed the closet into another workspace by taking the doors off ... and plan to run to goodwill today to buy a desk as I have recently organized again and would like to put a small desk there for me to sit on the computer .... its funny how such a small space can work for 2 people and seem very large. It helps that I have lots of natural light shining in all the time and a bose Ipod speaker system to play some tunes while we work !!! Also my ikea cabinets hide away sooo much clutter and I don't know what i would do without them , i have counters all around me to create on !! I truly believe in displaying as much as you can so that you get inspiration from all around you .... and recently changed the closet shelving now to display some of my fun vignettes ....

In San Francisco... ahhhhh yes..... last weekend was my hubby's 40th birthday and so for a huge surprise I booked a flight and hotel for San Francisco for the weekend .. he had no idea which was the funnest part ... right after work i wisked him away to the airport where we boarded a plane and headed to Cali for the weekend..... soo fun and spontaneous !! He loved it !!! So here are some of the things we did .... first we stayed at the most darling hotel called the Larkspur .. this hotel had sooo much history and was very vintage , the rooms were small and quaint with all the old vintage doors and chandeliers everywhere ... it was the quinnessential place to stay ...
we enjoyed time by the water and walking along the beach ... i just love the ocean ... it was a bit foggy but the fog had blew over just in time for our sunset cruise under the San Fran bridge ! it was amazing fun time and the scenery was breathtaking ... here we were on the cruise , it was a bit windy and a bit chilly at times , but other then that we had a blast !!!

and who doesn't love all the architecture in San Fran ... its so inspiring that you could spend days there just walking along all the streets ..(. the safe ones LOL.. but thats a whole other story ) while we were there the last day they were having a street fair on Union down by Cow Hollow .. there was this amazing flower shop that I snapped a picture of .... only in San Fran can you feel like you have traveled all over the world from Italy, China to the streets of Paris ... it truly is a wonderful city and sooo friendly to get around ..... well stay tuned because guess what ? this week there will be a giveaway on the Junk Bonanza blog for one of my pieces .....

she loves mama birds ....

This couldn't have happened at a more appropriate time ... two mama birds have decided to nest around my home ... we have one in the front and one in the back by our kitchen window... when I showed my boys yesterday they were super excited .... we are patiently waiting for them to have babies ... my 8 year old quickly stated " mommy, the birds are here because you use birds in your jewelry and they know its safe here...." it was one of those ah ha moments for me ... because it shows how much what i do has an impact on there little lives... . I really had no idea how close attention they pay to my jewelry .... but it makes me happy as my son sees me as an artist which I have a hard time seeing myself as sometimes... he also told me recently that when he grows up if he doesn't make the NBA he would like to be an artist like me .... so I introduce Ethan Quinn my new blossoming artist ... he asked me to share his recent art piece because he said "i will be famous then too mommy , like you.... your kinda like Leonard Di Vinci... " well, hmmm not really... but in his eyes I am ..... and that is why I love being a mom. Being a hero to someone so small everyday makes my life complete and makes me very happy , full of love and joy ! And teaching my children that they can have wings to fly to follow there dreams ..... just like the mamma bird will do when those babies come......so with that being said I want to wish a

Its been the craziest week.... the kids were on Spring break and my youngest son decided to play with his legos. Only instead of playing with them he stuck a little diamond from indiana jones playset in his nose, so needless to say we ended up in the ER to have it removed... luckily with a little glue they managed to get it out quite easily .....

So after our Indiana Jones adventure the saga continued .... with a water leak ... now recently we just found a leak in the pool and had it fixed on Monday... my assistant happened to be taking some things outside for me and when she went into the garage the water heater had sprung a leak ... so luckily not much was hurt by the water but we were 36 hours without any hot water ...

so yes ... its been a little crazy around my house.... but I did still manage to get alot accomplished... and am excited to share with you some new jewelry .... Lots of new things are now available like charm bracelets:

It's all about the details some people say.... and I would have to agree ... I have been working very hard at putting together brochures, postcards , tags etc to present myself as a "brand" - WOW sometimes that is really hard for me to grasp .... I finally put together materials for my reps - a 3 page full color brochure and a postcard - Yes the business side of things can sometimes be fun too, even though its business work (marketing etc )
I still have gotten to play with design !! Everything arrived yesterday and I have to say I was pretty proud of the turn out ...

Well there are a few events I will be attending in March here in Arizona and wanted to let you know ... Domestic Bliss is doing a fun swap and sell event and I am going to be a vendor !! It will be March 6th ! so find me in Downtown Mesa!and then the next weekend I will be at the Queen Creek Art Fair on March 13th at the wonderful new Equestrian Park !! so hopefully you will be able to come down and check one of these events out !! She's finding her way

This 5 lb box of findings arrived at my house yesterday ... yep all mixed together just like the photo ... needing to be sorted out to use in my jewelry ... it made me think that I kind of feel the same way .... a little unravelled some days... finding my way ... some days i feel like i am on autopilot ... coasting along ... other days i feel overwhelmed with JOY living my DREAM ... some days are pretty SCARY ... leaping fearlessly into the unknown ......

hoping i can land with my two feet firmly on the ground .... and making the right decisions for myself , my business and my family......
so i have decided to take a bigger LEAP .... I have finally hired a FULL time Personal Assistant to help me with the business side , to make sure things run smoother , to help me stay organized ... and make sure orders , inventory and the everyday things can function... it was TIME .... It was a DREAM and now i feel very BLESSED to say that my Sister n law can actually join me in my JOURNEY .... This month is flying by .. I can't believe we are half way to March already --- WOW ! I have been working on some new creations and even have some really fun new things in store for Mother's Day that I think you will LOVE !! This next weekend , hubby and I are going to Vegas .... Who doesn't love Vegas with all the big lights , casinos and the town that never sleeps !! Well things have been a little crazy around here lately... and I really haven't had time to stop in since I am learning to balance the chaos in my life right now ... but its getting easier and i am learning alot ... alot about me and alot about how to do business ( the business part is never easy) ... so i thought I would share a little bit more about me with you ... something you may not know .... about the real Brothers and Sisters ... you know the Walker's the ones you watch on Sunday evening ??? Well here is the "True " Walker family.. yes my maiden name is Walker ..... for my mom for Christmas (not Nora, Deb-- although sometimes she might be mistaken as Nora ... LOL ...) we decided to do a little photo shoot.... We all Joke about the show... see my dads name was William Walker , and he passed away just like on the show and sometimes there are some other similar things that are almost scary ... family owned business that my dad had when he died ( i really wish it was a winery ) .... oh and lots of drama ... everyone always talking to everyone about what so and so did ... oh yeah ... its there just like the show
so with out further ado let me introduce to you the real Brothers and Sisters.... Jason, Beth, Ryan

A New Year and a 100th Post !!!

Wow... I just realized that I have my 100th post on New Years Eve !! SO I guess I can only celebrate new years by giving away a piece of my jewelry !!! I am not one to make New Years Resolutions ... but if I were to do ONE this year it would be to "DREAM BIG " - It's going to be my motto all year and I hope it will be yours too....
I have been taking it easy this past week and just enjoying some time off ...

but I have also been busy dreaming up new ideas too !!! Sometimes I fear the well is running low and the ideas don't come easy and sometimes in those empty hours you think you might never get back to where you were ... .. .in those times I usually do different things take a bath, read , look through my old sketches/journals ... and then somehow the ideas start popping again ... sometimes in the strangest places... its really funny how it works ..... I think that if you let yourself relax and Follow Your HEART ... your DREAMS will follow you .... you can make it happen ... I am proof of how DREAMS do come TRUE .... Its not easy and it takes lots of hard work ... but the BIGGER you DREAM .... the more chances you will have for SUCCESS !!

SO DREAM BIG !!!

Yes I do BELIEVE ... I have always been a believer in the MAGIC of Christmas... and its so easy during the holidays to forget what a special time of year it is... to be with family and friends... and to reflect on yourself and what you really truly cherish... To LIVE with INTENTION and to make a DIFFERENCE in your lives..... I was reading my friends blog and she posted this ...
It spoke volumes to me ... just loved it ... the new year is coming .. and I have lots of changes coming ... I have Sales Reps starting in the Pacific Northwest which is a huge change for me , Exciting & Scary ..., taking my business to another level with employees to help me ... I am learning I can't do everything and to let go of some of the control .... To let LIFE guide me .... I have another Tradeshow going on over here in January and some other really exciting news to share in the New Year ...the kind that made me jump for joy ... and cry ... and feel very very BLESSED... Beyond words I feel blessed by all my support from all my readers, friends , family and customers...
but when its all said and done ... I still just love to enjoy the small things .... and which is why for the next couple weeks I am going to be INTENTIONAL and spend some time REFLECTING, .... ENJOYING my little guys.... RELAXING ..... and LISTENING to what my HEART says... taking some time off (which is hard for me especially when my studio is in my house ) So I will try to pop in and say hello ... but I really want to break away from the computer for a few days to REFRESH ... BREATHE ,.... and ENJOY ..... as we all get caught up in all hustle and bustle of the holidays... just SLOW down for a few days....

and i realize that some of us are struggling , going through tough times , missing loved ones (I miss my dad terribly during this time ) so i wish to you that you can find some inner PEACE too... and set that aside just for a couple days

I hope you all get lost in the MAGIC of CHRISTMAS this year ....

I am feeling very blessed this thanksgiving .... i have more exciting news to share soon .... the past week has been filled with lots of amazing happenings here ..... so yes I am THANKFUL ... I have a wonderful husband and two wonderful boys ... and a very supportive mom who I call my best friend !! Well this Saturday I am having my first Trunk Show ... its going to be full of one of a kind pieces and some new things too ... I am going to be closing the shop on Dec 14th for the holidays so that i may enjoy some holiday time with my family and actually relax !! ... and custom orders will end on the Dec 7th ~~~

She had a WONDERFUL time ....

WOW i don't even know where to begin .... First , I want to thank each and every one of you for your sweet comments on my previous post... I am truly blessed and feel so fortunate to have so many women to share my experience with because I know sooo many of you are journeying too , it might not be the same but we ALL have a story to tell..... and I LOVE hearing yours !!!!! thanks will never be enough ... my heart is full !!
So without further ado here is a recap of the silver bella adventure... I was only in Omaha for 48 hours ?!!! so it was jam packed full and i still don't feel recovered yet ....LOL!! I don't think my feet even had time to touch the ground and i still feel like i am in the clouds !!! and silly me didn't take any pictures so ALL are borrowed from my friend Tricia and Jeanne !!
The first night I had a wonderful dinner with a bunch of vendor girls including the fab Lisa Kettell, Tricia (vintage bliss), Analise Sledd and her Mom, Christine (Dolly Belle) and Beth Leintz ! What a fab time we had !!!!
The next day I spent the morning antiquing with my buds Christine and Tricia - we had soo much fun at second chance !! which is the best store and I scored tons of vintage lace !!
That night was vendor night , and I only regret not having a photo of me in my apron that my cousin, Julie made (so if anyone took one could you email me pretty please !!!) This was me and my good friend Jeanne !! We got to connect again and had soo much fun together even though we were both soooo tired !!!! I just love her and we have sooo much in common ( miss you girl)!! You must visit her blog to see some more amazing photos of the event!
I met the most amazing girls this past weekend !! I can't even put into words how amazing the event is!!! Teresa is wonderful and puts on one of the best paper arts events around !!!! Thanks so much to everyone who stopped by and said hi or purchased something ... again i am soooo blessed by you and my heart is so full !! I would love to see your pics from Silver Bella if you attended so please leave me a comment !!!! I will post your links below !!!

She is glittering up ...

For a Bella good time...!!!!!. It has been two years since i went to silver bella and really am excited to at least attend as a vendor ... the first time I went I launched my business and so attending this event is a really sentimental thing for me ..and i have been thinking alot lately about where i am going , changes i need to make for me to grow as a person and for my business.... .my journey has been so wonderful this last 2 years full of more excitiment and joy then i could have ever imagined .... I have had to open myself up and put myself out there so many times...and its scary... almost frightening sometimes ... but..... in doing so have met some very WONDERFUL people along the way... I have gotten to journey to foreign lands ..I have gotten to DREAM BIG ... but have also had to BE very BRAVE in my journey .... I have had many ups and downs learning how to run a business like a girl .... But is has been so worthwhile .... I have no idea where my journey will continue to go ... I have lots of HOPES and DREAMS for where I will continue .... but I realize I can't do it alone... I like many other she's out there like to have a lot of control over my everyday business things ... and i am realizing more then ever that is time to LET GO ... time for CHANGE.... time for me to be BRAVE and let DESTINY continue to guide my JOURNEY..... to put my fear aside and HAVE A LITTLE FAITH .... I have been thinking alot lately after reading lots of other she's blogs about my business and opening myself to new friends...new dreams , new paths .... I am not one who does well with change ... I hate it ... and fight it every step of the way .... but i am LEARNing that CHaNgE is GOOD !!!!! and that I love my JOURNEY !!!!!! I am sooooo ready for whatever next BIG thing may come along ... so here I come ... ready or not... ... putting myself out there.. wearing my HEART for the world to SEE ... just remember I am LEARNING TO FLY ...

That I have booked my plane fare and room to attend the Silver Bella event to be a Vendor ...
I am so excited .... I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to attend but things have worked out so that I am able too !!! Thank goodness for such wonderful family support (big hugs to my mom, hubby and SIL!!!) I am working on some special things for the fall events on i am attending and coming up with some new class ideas for next year to teach since so many people have been asking about classes !! and some special new jewelry for the shows I am doing the next few months , lots of one of a kind things !!

she is gearing up for fall ...

Oh how happy I am that Arizona is starting to cool off a little ... starting to feel more like fall... things have been busy for me .. and hubby finally went back to work after 12 weeks of being off ..whew thank goodness he is on the mend !! Its been a long road for us ... but we are making it ... well I have lots of new spooky jewelry for you coming in the store...
and the cute little she necklaces ....

and next weekend I am heading to Cali to stay with my brother ... the kids are on fall break for a week so I have been dying to check out the Rose Bowl flea market and it just happens to be this weekend ... I also might check in on this event and visit some friends !! I also have to hit this store so I am praying they will be opened .....
and in honor of Breast Cancer month I am going to be offering some pink jewels ... and a portion of the proceeds are going to the Breast Cancer Fund !! I know so many wonderful she's who have been touched by this terrible disease and I can't wait to show my support for Helping to find a Cure !! ...... so much has been happening and this week has been a little bit crazy for me after this
here is a picture of the booth that my jewelry was displayed in , in Sweden ... Simply Wonderful isn't it ?!!! Anna is so amazing with her decor talent and I am so honored to be working with this wonderful couple !!( oh and she just posted one of our adventures on her blog!) So I have to say it was a huge success and I have been a lot busy working on getting orders done ... and sometimes I still need to pinch myself to make sure it is all real....
and in addition I am working on things for this .... I will be doing a tutorial over there next week and there is even a fun Swap going on so make sure to run over and sign up !!! Kits will be going on sale on October 2nd ... and mine will be very limited but have lots of vintage treasures in it .. but I will have some sneaks very soon of that ....

and I also have some bad news too.... after lots of thought and consideration I am going to have to withdraw from Silver Bella this year.... I may change my mind and attend vendor night ( I still have my table ), but at this point it isn't in the cards for me... I am bummed but I don't want to take on more then my plate can handle .. on a good note though ... Teresa found a lucky She to take my place and I know she is over the top excited to be coming ... So that makes me very happy ...
well my fall calendar is filling up ... I am going to be out and about in October and November at some local events ... so for all you local gals please stop by and say hello ... would love to see you !! until next time !!!

Well I hope you like the new look of my blog and website - I am still working on tweeking it a little here and there but I love it !! Thanks so much to Sara over at SadieOlive for helping me and turning my ideas into just what I wanted !! She is soo talented and fast !!! Not to mention a sweetheart ... and so easy to work with .!

So this weekend I will be participating in the flea market event in Washington at Haley's Cottage! I wish I was going to be there in person , so hopefully one of these days I will. BUT i have sent lots of new goodies and fun stuff , so if you live there ... I would definitely recommend going ,
I know this sweet couple will be there ... and you just can't miss out on what Debbi and Bob put together , they are amazing !!!
